Book: The One in A Million Boy by Monica Wood
A random find in the library that drew me in from the front cover description. Who doesn’t want to read about the adventures of a 104-year-old woman? The addition of a curious 11-year-old who asks the questions we all want to ask provides insight into Ona's rich family history and how she outlived all of her relatives. It's impressive that she's still able to drive at her age. In addition, the boy's dad is a musician, so there are many references to enjoy there as well. So technically, the second book in a row with music at its heart.
At 400 pages, it’s a long novel and I was able to speed read some of the transcripts of their conversations and yet still love this book.
It’s bliss to know I have another author’s back catalogue to seek out.
