Film: Renfield

Such a witty take on Dracula (Nicolas Cage), a source of nightmares as a child and ridiculed in adulthood. Refnield (Nicholas Hoult) is the aid to the Prince of Darkness himself, bringing him all the feeds he needs. One day he wants out but realising there is no escape, decides to kill criminals instead of innocents and bring them back. And that’s how he gets involved with the city’s crime family.

Renfield’s employee benefit is power, which he gets from digesting insects. Brilliantly he goes to group therapy, has his own flat and befriends a cop, played by the always watchable ‎Awkwafina.  Great cast and so much fun.
