Edinburgh April 2016

The (at least) annual visit to Scotland had us in Edinburgh in April, thanks to the post-Easter sale of first class Virgin trains. This time we stayed central, just across fro the old town at Ten Hill Place Hotel and discovers cheap and cheerful local Indian café, 10 to 10 in Delhi. Also we were closer than we thought to my favourite place in the city (one of my favourite places in the world) Peter's Yard.

On this Scottish trip I realise the opposite of what I believed is true; I thought I liked Glasgow more but actually, I like Edinburgh because it has more neighbourhoods I would live in. I love Glasgow just for the West End and really dislike the 'downtown' part of the city. If I decided I was moving to Scotland, it would be Edinburgh.April 2016@RickieWrites
