Book - The Grass Trail by A A Abbott
The third in the Birmingham based Trail series quickly lured me in. Most of the characters are from the Vodka Trail so, it’s quick to get into the story.
The central character is still Kat, seeking revenge on the person she believes is responsible for the death of her parents. I don’t particularly enjoy the prison scenes depicting her would-be assassin (it’s a long story) but, they are mercifully short.
I love these books from Brummie author AA Abbott because they have super short chapters, each focusing on a character. This makes them a quick, simple read, so I take one of these away with my to-read at airports. Sadly in 2020/21 those opportunities have been few and I started this on a train to Edinburgh and finished it during the next trip to Belfast.
One more Trail to go. Now, do you think I will finally get to go abroad and read this in two long-haul plane rides next time?
