Book: Anything Is Possible by Elizabeth Strout
This originally came via a recommendation. Luckily, when I picked it up, I realised it was a sequel so I got hold of My Name is Lucy Barton to read first.
A year later, Anything is Possible has a much larger caster and all our explored fully as we reach the climax of this quick read.
Each character - as is every human - and the author does a great job of portraying this as we delve into their stories.
While the characters are all linked to Lucy Barton by family, friendship or most often, being from the same small town (what we’d call a village), her story is a small part of this book.
There is so much more to discuss. I didn't bother trying to keep track of everyone's connections, but that didn't diminish my enjoyment of the book. Surprisingly, I finished it in under a week.
