Vancouver 2012: Century Plaza Hotel, the best

Once again, I stayed in the Century Plaza hotel in Vancouver. Why? Because it's perfect and there is no reason to change. The welcome is as lovely as always and the receptionist offers us a key to the swimming pool room. Either this is new or I don't recall it as I don't swim but it was a lovely addition.Last year I was elevated to the 28th floor and this year we are elevated to a beautiful corner suite  to the 30th, the very top! I'm not sure where I'll be next year but frankly I've been delighted with every room I've had anyway.I am doing a very quick 20 minute unpack as usual so I can refresh, get dressed and get back out on yet another sunny arrival day in Vancouver, when there is a knock. What arrives with the personal card is the perfect arrival platter. I can tell by the kitchen this suite seems to have been refurbished and it has a huge bathroom just off the bedroom. Made for two, it has a double bath, incorporating ajacuzzi and a double shower, with an overhead and hand-held shower head plus a steam room! We are already wondering how we are going to cope with standard baths and showers after this! And of course, all the floor to ceiling views are amazing.  Century Plaza websiteOn Twitter @CenturyPlazaVanFollow me for updates @RickieWrites
