Film - Project Power

We are away for a couple of trips in August so only managed one other film via Netflix.

Project Power is quite an interesting take on superheroes. These ones do drugs which react differently to each person. Oh, and the effects last five minutes so queue a lot of timers.

To start with it’s simple; there’s the cop who buys from the teen drug dealer/rapper who is raising money to ensure her sick mum has the medications she needs. Then a former soldier turns up and the cop/dealer combo don’t know if he’s one of the super bad guys or their saviour.

It’s pacy action flick considering there are only three main characters (Jamie Foxx, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Dominique Fishback) although I could have done with a few more twists and turns.
