Film: Elemental

If I only watched films like this at the cinema each Friday I’d be able to cope with what the world is throwing us just that little bit better

The film is so called as it features all of the elements (air, fire, water and earth) living in harmony albeit separately. We meet Ember (fire) who is destined to take over her family shop until she meets Wade (water) who is a city inspector investigating a water leak. However, their dreams are put on hold due to a leak that threatens to force its way into Firetown, marking its end unless someone takes action.

In a classic tale of opposites attract, Elementels demonstrates how we all need each other and how we can blend in perfect harmony. It’s not a Disney Pixar film if it doesn’t teach the kids (us) in the most entertaining way. I love witnessing the elements each creating their own brand of magic.
