Film - Bill & Ted Face the Music

I only recall seeing the first one on TV and it was such a long time ago that this seems so fresh - and yet innocently old school at the same time. Pretty soon the old jokes start popping up - we’d have complained if the familiarity wasn’t there. 

They must have had so much fun putting together a variety of Bill & Teds from different future years. Mostly, I love that the mantle has been passed over to their daughters who, breaking with teens in films tradition, love their ‘Dads’. Bill & Ted being summoned from their now wedding/bar band status to save the world yet again by writing the one song that would bring us all together. A few films could sum up 2020 but add this to the list. 

One forgets how many non-bogus, excellent phrases these dudes bought into our language. Fun, clever and just the escape we need because there has to be at least one good memory from 2020.
